Jill - I just loved the retirement bit on Florida. rofl I hate to admit it but with the seniors down here it was almost all true. DH and I get a kick out of watching them and I hope that we have their strength and tenacity when we reach their age. (not too much longer for us)

Well, I have just returned from todays excursion to The Philadelphia Flower Show with Cricket and we had a fabulous time together. Alas the time together was too short. I am trying to do some post production on some of the shots from the show and shall try to post a few later tonight.

I managed to see some of the Hockey game, but being up before the rooster early this morning i was starting to fade fast. Lucky for me I had the sense to leave midway through the second period and managed to connect from the subway to my bus home just in time. Had i left 10 minutes later, i would have been waiting for my homeward bound bus until now.

]I was not too happy with my shots but here are three that I have done some post production work on from the show.

Orchid :Posted Image

Very large arrangement in a huge urn

Since the theme was "Flora Italia" there was this one display of a venitian canal and gondola

I am not too happy with the results today. This was the first time i actually had the change to test out my external flash and stroboframe flash bracket. I think i am going to have to RTFM again but i think i may be more likely to finish War & Peace first. I have this strong aversion to using electronic flash for most shots but in this dark indoor area i had no choice
