Personally, I thing breeding pure bred dogs is just selfish and a money maker. Our shelters, rescue organizations and the Human Society have all kinds of dogs who need love and a nuturing home. Now that's doing the right thing in my opinion.

Purebred labs are wonderful seeing eye dogs and very friendly and good tempered and I am ok with that if they are bred for that reason.

Wow Penny, what a beautiful owl.  So sweet.

Sweet looking maybe but keep in mind it was a GHO who caused the big upset in the nest late at night when Mom Norfolk accidentally broke her eggs :8O:

Scout lived inside the motor of my son's truck for a day or two before he found him.. even drove the truck to work and could hear a kitten somewhere... found him that night.. burned paws from the hot engine... his first meal with Brandon was bologna.. no wonder he wanted to come to my house...

Feral cats in Winnipeg often curl up on engine block heaters which most people use during the winter if their cars are parked outside. I always check to make sure there is no kitty under there before starting the car...you can usually tell by their footprints in the snow if there is one around

We have a new eagle coming to the Eagle center in May.

He's from Florida.  He's about 8 lbs.  He's blind in the left eye and 1 yrs old.

Isn't he a beauty.

So glad he is coming to such a wonderful home Eaglehandler. We will look forward to more pics and videos from you when he gets there. :ok:

:}^ With the exception of 2 of the kitties (Petsmart adoptions) we have., the rest have found us. I feed several outside that people have left behind and even had several fixed and vaccinated so we wouldn't have kittens running around. I figure I can do a little something for the cause - every little bit, helps!
