For the teachers out there- MACHO TEACHER A school teacher injured his back during the summer and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all. On the first day of the fall school term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest group of students in the school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible and then busied himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his chest. Discipline was not a problem from that day forth. ......................YOU THINK? |

Wow George! Some of those photos were so sharp - almost 3D - that I felt that I could reach out and touch them. Beautiful shots. I bet that it smelled heavenly as you walked through all the various displays! Amazing pics. Thank you for sharing

I am still feeling from my walk around yesterday. Not so much from where the staples are over the incicison but my ankles are stiff and i have shin splints now. While I have the strong narcotic , hydromorphone, I refuse to use them for my shins and ankles when i hope that some rest will do the trick .

George, I did presentations, events, classes etc. for a looooong time. Every time -I always felt the effects for the next week or so. I would get out of bed the first morning, and my feet felt like they were going to crack open! Time takes care of most of the stuff. Give yourself permission to be lazy for a few days. Cricket - you too! |

George - I'm stewing because I can't see all your flower pix from the show yesterday. I'll have to wait until I get home tonight. I hope there are some of you too - I'd like to see the face that goes with that wicked sense of humor! Linda - I hope you got some good shots of your hawks today. I got to watch a beauty on my walk today but no pix of course. I thought he was a Redtail but he had a brilliant white patch at the base of his tail that I've never noticed on them before. Three cheers for the IWS crew for getting the PH cam back in tip-top shape!
