Hello everyone! I've managed to get on earlier today! Ok, I haven't posted any projects I've done from my Commercial design class, so here's some hat i transferred to my usb. (I used a program that my computer doesn't have, so I had to transfer to adobe files, then I had to transer to jpeg, so some of the quality is lost. Plus, photobucket reduces quality even more. So sorry in advance!)This one is a logo for a fake resturant called Captain Jack's seafood Shack. And no ,angelfish isn't on the menu. ![]() This one I did today! We had to make a credit card (it didn't have to make sense, either.) So I made the Olympics credit card! Michael Phelps needs that oone. ![]() I made this today too. My teacher hasn't seen this yet, so he might make me change it. It's a cd cover for a made up singer. He wanted us to make a cover with theo utline of an object of soem kind, and he wanted the cover to be for a mellow type of music. So, here's what I came up with. (It's an eagle! And yes, I made that name on purpose. )![]() |

Oh i know, i walked a beat for 8 hours a shift with only minimal time on station at various buildings at the park. Only after retirement has my feet started giving me problems. I really should get the custom molded orthotic arch supports that my health plan will no longer pay for. They kept my feet happy for many years ever since i was in higschool. @#$@#$@ ins co's , now they call those orthotics "Cosmetic". For them to be cosmetic in my opionion would mean they would have to be right at my feet looking at them to get kicked,

Zach , nice designs! A good commercial artist/design speicalist can make a good living! Just think about it. Everything we buy has some sort of packaging with design work needed. Every service, company or organization has their trademark logo. My grandfather started out as a commercial artist who designed the logos for our current Transit agency and its predecessor as well as alot of their promotinal materials and schedules and such. When he retired he was their head of public relations and he did quite well financially over his carreer. For somebody who never went past 8th grade in england as a kid, he made out well with his skill. So i know you can and will too!!

Thanks George! I really wish the quality of the images was better. The originals are much brighter and vivid. And it seems everyone knows a commercial artist! Someone I know who went to the same school as me and was in commercial design also worked as a textbook illustrator. She did every illustration in a textbook, and got paid well.

Thanks Penny! I couldn't think of a name for a while, too! I spent about ten minutes trying to think of one, and then that popped into my head. I'll be sure to post more projects as I complete them!
