If a doomsday event does happen I definately do not want to know it is coming but I do hope I am eating a huge piece of chocolate cake if it does!

I seriously do not think that a natural event will be our doomsday event anyway. I think it will be man made. :soar:

Don't know how much you miss something until it is taken away (Fuzzy PH nest cam).... Our 'new' but not so new member Bette from Santa Barabara area discovered from a group picture taken on Santa Cruz Island a year or two back, that she recogniozed me as working for a doctor she frequented in Ojai and later in SB... and even tho it has been 20 years or more.. I do remember Bette quite well!!! We have been catching up with emails... Hi Bette

While eagles can project a good distance with their poop shots, the PH camera is over 100 yards away from the nest/eagles......they can't project THAT far! I'm guessing that condensation from yesterday's rain has penetrated the camera. But that's just my guess. Hope and his team can give us a better update.....soon!

George - Your flower shots are just beautiful. Keep them coming. Especially nice on a cloudy, dreary day.

It appears 1 (or 2) orange cats have taken up residence in our yard. Ragsy, our outdoor cat, has stopped resisting it/them and is letting it/them share breakfast & dinner with her. It/they have also stopped running off when we go outside. Oh yeah, and our dog has accepted it/them also. You're probably wondering why I keep saying it/them, aren't you? Well, until a couple days ago, we thought it was just one cat. That is until we were pulling out of the driveway the other day and noticed it in the front yard by our fence.....looking up at the fence.....where we discovered an idential cat.....same size & color. They looked like twins. However, we're not sure if only one or both of them have taken up residence at our house. We've only seen one at a time in the backyard, so who knows. We're considering calling it/them Saucy/Sassy if they stay. Time will tell. |
