According to a news reporter on Bloomberg TV...'It costs more to take your money out of an ATM than it does to buy a share of CitiGroup right now' :8O:

I see they fixed the PH nest.  But it's really far away!  We can't see the close-ups.  Hopefully, the crew will adjust it!

I'm thinking that the eagle who hit the windshield might have been after something on the truck that it thought was prey. Sometimes these trucks have fluttering attachments to their antenna rods  It did come in on an angle obviously with talons extended to grab prey and the truck was moving at a certain speed too. :o

Mental note to self: Never put anything on the car antenna...like some people do so they can find their vehicle in a parking lot rofl

I was just wondering - if it is the camera that has a problem, is it far enough away from the nest that they could access it?

Maybe the trucker had a fish or bird air freshener hanging inside the cab and with the shimmer reflecting off the glass the eagle was confused and thought it was over water :P

Marti: Peter responded the other day when the cam wasn't working that they would not be able to access the camera now until banding day as they wouldn't want to disturb the nest. So we are verrrrrrrrrrry grateful it came back up on its own for whatever reason the cause.

After telling DH the story of the eagle hitting the windshield of the truck he told me what happened last week to his friend on the golfcourse. 2 people were in a golfcart and out of nowhere a hawk flew in one side and out the other. Thank goodness it continued on its flight uninjured but the golfers sure had a scary experience getting hit by its wing. All I cared about was the hawk, happy ending to an unusual experience.
