Lala I think it was a BIG miscommunication all the way around and I take my fault in the process....too bad too cause it's a nice place. I am starting to get testy about something else tho. Why can't the TV programs stay within thier time limits for shows. They are cutting off shows way too quick and we miss things that are critical to the show. It's agreviating me. And I keep getting digital pieces that display in the picture and it goes black all the time. So I'm all testy about that!! |

Hello everyone! Sorry about getting on so late, it's been a busy week for me. I have more projects I've done, but I'm too lazy to go through all the trouble of uploading them right now. Plus, I'm writing an essay at the moment. So how was everyone's day?

Here's the last pics I could get off the Hummer cam today. I waited a bit too long for a pic of junior and the other egg. I thought she would feed the baby and I would get a better one...but she came back and landed on top without feeding him and then it was dark Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Mama has a bit of eggshell stuck to her beak.......Nite Nite Hummer family

Zachary you do not need to apologize for coming on here 'late'. We are happy to have you visit whenever you can. I know you mean for posting on NO's though By the way, I've enjoyed your observations. There was one from Wednesday you posted about Wray which was very funny  Keep it up I found it....

Linda, did you take the photos of the airline yourself? Also lovely hummer photos! I've never seen a hummingbird in person before. There was apparently one in the yard once, and I missed it. Haha! I almost forgot about that one! I was in aa good mood that day. Not that I'm not today!

Me neither. Even issues such as mold blowing through the ventilation system..ewwww. From those photos you can really see how huge the plane is compared to the houses and it is easy to imagine how devastating it would be if it had gone down amongst them.

Just finished watching Sigfried & Roy. WOW I only wish I could have seen them before the accident. The animals were beautiful. Although they belonged in the Wild not living with them. They too treated them as humans. Off to dinner. See you in the morning. |

Well, I'll be taking my leave now Peeps as we are going into LA to the 12th Annual Group Show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery. The reception is from 8:00 - 11:00 pm. Should be an eye-opener....It's called 'Everything But The Kitchen Sink' and I'm sure it will be. One of our friends from Winnipeg has the next show there at the beginning of April, so it will give us an idea of the customer base. This gallery is inside Wacko/Soap Plant on Hollywood Blvd near Sunset. Best part is we'll go to The Alcove afterwards for dessert and hot cocoa

I watched the first few minutes of it, but didn't get a chance to watch the rest. I too wish I could have seen them. And acuatualy, I'm not really sure what happened. Didn't one of the tigers attack? And that's why he's blind? (i forget which one is blind, too.) |

I've seen the Sigfried and Roy show two times...amazing relationship they have with the cats.. the finale with Roy riding the white tiger on top of a mirrored ball, flying around the audience was breathtaking.. that is why I went again ...and I don't think the tiger was trying to injure Roy when the accident happened... having said all this.. I am happy the show is over for good...like the chimp... the accident with Roy could have happened to someone in the audience.... you cannot predict what a wild animal will do.. what their 'trigger' point is.... |
