Good morning.

George the Hockey Pictures make me want to stand up and yell GOAL! Great job thanks again for taking all the pictures. I knew you would do the Show & Game justice.

George may shoot my Club's Obedience Trails (all breed), and the Confirmation Ring where I'll be working to earn another Club jacket! Plus I get to be in the tent with all of the German Shepherd Dogs and Handlers as they rest up prior to being shown and afterwards too. I love when they come to me and give me a nudge wanting attention. These dogs are hams in the Ring. It's not a definite with George. He doesn't like to make plans that far in advance, but we'll see. In the Fall I worked both days in both rings. It was COLD too.

Zach. Roy is the man who was attacked by his White Tiger. He is not blind, but has some Brain Damage from a Stroke (CVA) he had due to the amount of blood he lost during the attack. I don't feel he will ever get any better then what we see now. He is very lucky to be here since he died three times on the table, and was revived. The Show last night appeared to me to be a little on thre Dark Side. Depressing to watch Roy come out along walking the best he could. He was so handsome before! He really did not have anything personal to do with Montecore (the same Tiger that attacked him) Siegfried took over the active roll there, and stayed between Roy and Montecore. The giant cat just lay on the floor eating some treats, but at one point I thought it was going to get up and make a move on Sigfried but that never happened. Thank God. Roy wants the Show to go on, but I don't see how that's possible since he was the one who worked with the animals they had. Sigfried is sad to see it all come to an end. They made millions!

For those who may have missed it last night because of the late night launch I'll bring this over - the Kepler spacecraft launched successfully last night:

Kepler Spacecraft Blasts Off To Hunt Earth-Like Worlds

George, you might be interested in the camera - Kepler has a 95 megapixel camera rofl

The spacecraft will point its unblinking eye at a patch of sky near the constellations Cygnus and Lyra, where it will scan some 100,000 stars for the telltale dip in brightness that signals a planet crossing in front of its parent star as seen from Earth. The tiny "wink" in light that Kepler is designed to measure with its 95 million-pixel camera is comparable to a person trying to watch a flea cross a car's headlight from miles away, NASA officials have said.

Morning everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day/weekend!

Cricket - Thanks for the information. When I was watching 20/20 I saw Roy wearing sunglasses and feeling his way around, so I thought the tiger made him blind. My mistake! :bld:

George - What hockey team did you go see? Was it a professional game? I don't recogonize the colors.

Tonight I am cooking again, and I will make Broiled Lamb Chops With Herbs. Honey Glazed Baby Carrots, and Creamed Peas & Onions. May have a salad too not sure yet. All Homemade naturally. Nothing canned, or frozen, and everything fresh including herbs. This will be the first time I cooked this particular dish, and if it turns out as good as I think it will, I will Post it in the Exchange.

Egads no way could i afford a camera like that! The digital medium format hasselblad body is a not so cheap $36,140 for a 51 megapixel with wide angle lens

The 31meg body with normal lens is a tad over $30,000

however a mamiya 28megapixel digital is a cheap 15,000.

Personally, unless you are a very well known pro who gets big bucks per sold image or print, this is way over even the most serious of amateur photographer's head or needs (fwiw)

Most of us are not producting huge billboard sized prints such as they used to have in the concourse of Grand Central Station in a display by our great yellow father , who art in rochester, hallowed by they name Eastman Kodak.

They had speicalized processing equipment at thier facility in rochester ny to priint the images in panels and the film at the time was , the one made famous by good ole paul simon, the now dearly departed Kodachrome 25 film for the very fine grain characteristics it had making super large blow ups possible

George - What hockey team did you go see? Was it a professional game? I don't recogonize the colors.

This was the American Hockey League Philadelphia Phantoms the flyers farm team vs the Norfolk Admirals which is the tampa bay farm club i think.

alas my cousin is a fan of the Lowell Devils for the AHL but hes always been a die hard boston fan. He hasnt gotten over them losing the Stanley Cup to the flyers in 1973 and was jealous even now of me being at that game.

This was the game where they brought out Kate Smith to sing God Bless America. At which point the great Bobby Orr along with one of the Espositos skate over with a dozen roses for her. One of the classiest things i have witnessed at a hockey game.

The owners of the Phantoms, Comcast-Spectacorp have sold the team to a group from pittsburgh and will no longer be playing in philadelphia. Talk is they want to move to Allentown pa where they do have some proximity to the existing fan base here in philly. Unless they make the playoffs for the Calder cup, the final ice hockey game EVER to be played at the soon to be demolished Spectrum will be on April 10th of this year. For nostalgia reasons i will be there the same way i was at the final games at the old Connie Mack Stadium and then the first and last games of our former Veteran's Stadium which was open from 1971 to 2003

I just found an excellent Recipe I have, Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms (vegan), and Posted it in the Exchange. Cecilia loves them when I make them during our Summer Vacation's in Florida. If she knew they were not fattening, and so good for you, I'm sure she wouldn't eat them! Very easy to make too. Great dish as an appitizer too.

if you love mushrooms you need to go to kennett square. I have bought mushrooms (not sure if they were from the owner or a worker who is working on the side) cheap there. Shitake, portobellos etc for WAY less than what you see them priced at in the supermarket. :)^

I know Ken won't take me so I'll have to program it into my Garmin and go sometime. I do use a LOT in my cooking when I'm allowed to cook that is. I put them in Stews, salads, veggies, and my appitizer's as I listed in the Exchange. The little white button's are my favorites. Sometimes I do them all alone.

I see the P.H. Cam is down again today. All blurry as though condensation got into it it. Hope they get it straighteded out once and for all soon. I'm so afraid we will miss something noteworthy on the nest. I can't make anything out on it but some see an Eagle.
