Well I was disappointed in dinner tonight although Ken gave it a 12 out of a 10. I would have to say a 9.5. The Lamb chops were a little too well done for my taste. The Peas & Onions in a cream sauce was just ok to me, and the glazed carrots were good. I will post them anyhow tomorrow, because I will cook it again if I get the chance. Maybe tomorrow night since the veggies will be leftovers, and I have Lamb left. Perhaps I won't cook it as much as I did and the veggies will taste better tomorrow night. Sigh. Was hoping for something outstanding again like my Salmon was. |

For those of you who have been to Joe's Crabshack I am looking out the window of the room directly at Joe's parking lot. No economic downturn over there Lot looks full.

![]() This is the business end of the peacocks feathers. The tall grey feathers hold the more fragile, long pretty feathers in place... this is the side that the peacocks like to show off...shaking the reddish feathers for attention.... ![]() Same dad, a little closer... he is the father of the two peacocks that are nearly two years old now.. they are full grown and I can't tell the mother from the daughter but the son has a stubby tail... very cute when he tries to display it like his father.. will get a picture of that.... |

Awesome pix Lala. I have never seen a peacock butt before either. What an absolute beauty he is. Nature is incredible!!! I especially really like the cool little Mohawk crown feathers. |

Karen, I was going to try and explain that when the peacock shuffles his huge tail out.. the tall grey feathers are lowered so the pretty feathers can get in position.. and as soon as it is totally spread out, the tall feathers come back up and hold the thinner feathers in place...lots of energy being used while the feathers are being displayed... a well structured bird... |

Naturegal nice pictues of pond visitors and of the Blackwater twins too. We visited Blackwater today and tried to find the nest. We were able to get a few pictures of an occupied nest but not sure if it's the one the cam is on. The nest is well hidden in the trees and it's hard to get a clear shot of the eagles. Visitors are not permitted to get too close to the nests. |
