Thanks Naturegal! We had a great day at Blackwater yesterday. The only things that would have made it better would have been bright sunshine and blue skies. Oh yeah, and a Canon white lens. The temperature was just perfect and we saw lots of birds.

Linda... That's the spot that I shovel after every storm for my crows. I feed and water them there. I also have 4 other feeding stations with bird feeders too. The turkeys are wild. I have a flock of about 25 of them and they eat all the bird food that falls from the feeders. I have to make them wait their turn though. If they come and drive off my crows and other birds, I go out and they all fly down back. It's really amazing how well they fly as big as they are. The biggest PITB is their poops! They are huge!!! They'll move on soon once the snow melts and they start nesting. So sorry to read about the doves. I wonder what happened to them too.I loved the 'back side' shot of the peacock. I always wondered how they got those super long feathers to stand up like that and now I know... Paula... We got up in the 50's yesterday but we have so much snow that it'll take awhile to melt. More snow coming for tomorrow morning too. UGH! I've been watching NCTC all morning and still no good views yet. The one time the eagle got up, my cam froze and then when it started again the eagle was back on the nest. Carole... Thanks for the Squish pictures everyday. Could he be any cuter? I also love the Eagleland pictures everyday too. I miss Jammie Pants!!!

Beakspeak nest cam index with activity This is as it appears to be the mother of all master lists for nest cams. Just thought i would pass it on to those here. The site indictates if occupied, vacant, nesting activity and if there are eggs or hatchlings too ![]() Edited: site also shows nation of location for the various nest cams. As i had never seen live a white stork , i clicked on a german white stork site that showed the two atop what appeared to a chimney just like the stories one reads about. |

He is soooo handsome....and your right his business side is just as showey as the front side....Lori, read your suggestion about contacting the Alabama Wildlift Center about a cam, so I will try that.. Thanks Mrs Goose, thanks for sharing your eaglewatching excursions... Great Sandie, how was your stay in paradise last night? Did you have to help with the clocks??? Off to cook breakfast, BBL
