when he knows the results he call me again....

so i was at home at 4.30p.m....all the time i was with my parents

geesh how exiting yuck yuck...

he/vet was a bit afraid for a little tumor in his throat...

but now he's home thank god....my oldest sweetie...

dad and mom gave me some money for the vet costs.....such a sweeties huh

Word to the wise.....I just got a new e-mail attempt at either giving me a virus or trojan or stealing my identity. I didn't click on the link, so I don't know which one they were after and I'd rather not find out. But I did want to give ya'll a wing up. This one came from a "Federal Court's Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlement" (yeah, right!) saying that I may be eligible to be part of a class action law suit and needed to click on their link to see if I was eligible.

Peetie: my vet lets me make payments, too for major stuff...much to the consternation of his front office! But geeezz....he's been my vet for 27 years which is longer than most of his staff and I've ALWAYS paid him...he's a great vet and a great guy. I sure hope your kitty's tests show nothing major as I know he's like one of your kids.

Thanks for the Wing up Jann. I too want to alert you all to something that happened to me at home yesterday.

I opened the snowman cam yesterday and within seconds my norton antivirus alerted me that something or someone had just attempted to "hijack" my computer and that the attempt had been blocked.

So please make sure your anti virus programs are working and up-to-date.

Good Morning, Eagle Peeps! :}^

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CESSNA! :bday:

And a belated Happy Birthday to the number one dad on Santa Cruz - K10!!! :bday: :<<>>: :bday:

While we're on the subject of computer scams - this was sent to all the government employees and I thought it might be good to share it here (in slightly edited form) -

***Rogue Anti-virus Pop Ups***

There are a number of commercial Web-sites infected with rogue
security software, also known as "scareware".  The "scareware" software
appears to be beneficial from a security perspective, but provides no
security benefit. In fact "scareware" can generate erroneous or misleading alerts, or attempt to lure users into participating in fraudulent transactions.

Recently, users have experienced some of these attempted scareware
hoaxes. One hoax has appeared in the form of a "Microsoft Internet Explorer
Pop Up Window" with a message that indicates the computer contains various
viruses and malware programs requiring immediate anti virus checks. The "updates" or "alerts" in the pop-up window directs the user to take an action, such as clicking to install the software, acceptance of recommended updates, or
removal of unwanted viruses or spyware. When clicked, the rogue security
software will download to the computer to capture credit card information
when the user attempts to purchase the service to remove that viruses and/or
malware.

Follow the actions listed below upon receiving a pop-up
window:

Do not click the "Cancel Button" on a pop-up window.

Do not click the "X" in the top right corner of the pop-up window. It can be
set to grant authority or continue the malware download process.

To Cancel out of a pop-up Window, use (CTRL+ALT+DELETE) and close the window
from task manager or use Alt-F4.

The highlights are mine, as I was unaware of the proper way to close these pop-ups.
