I always have Campbell's tomato soup with saltines crushed up in it when I'm sick!  :P

Jill, haven't you heard that homemade chicken soup is the cure all?

"Some chicken soup, plenty of tea
Soon you will be well and fancy free!" rofl rofl rofl

Well, tomato has been my favorite since childhood! :P Cute ditty though! :D I don't think I could change to chicken noodle, unless I knew for sure it'd cure me! :P

I'll have to try Ritz in place of the saltines one of these times! I do like Ritz crackers! :P

I absolutely love the extra cheddar Ritz crackers but I don't buy them anymore because they are very fat loaded. Wish I could ignore that though :'(

I've never tried those. I always buy any crackers in the reduced fat choice! :P

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Cheezits, but I do buy them for my DH! :D

How's your life going during tax season Patti? Hope you're not stressing out. We go to our tax person on Friday.

Life?? What's a "life"? lol My life is currently one set of deadline dates after another....there are a lot more than just April 15. Actually, I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Have one last corporation to close and then one sole proprietor set of books to enter for the entire year....and then I'm DONE! Well....sort of. Then it will be time to do the first quarter stuff for 2009 and catch up on filing, etc that gets pushed aside until later. I'm reallllllllllly looking forward to April 16 when Cumbrians arrive and I get to take some earned time off. At least my own tax return is already done...one good thing about having a kid in college...it forces you to get your tax return done early for financial aid applications.

Oh, of course. I know. You pretty much have no life. April 16th will be here before you know it!

Well, I've been a bad girl & stayed up until 10pm, so now it's off to shower & bed! :}^ :Zz:

We were talking about mushrooms a few days ago.
This article is in the Ventura County Star online today:

S.B. man dies after sautéing wild mushroom with steak
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) —

How did this guy live to 82??? :8O:

By NOT eating those wild mushrooms?

Finally getting to say Hi in the middle of the afternoon... Summer and I were busy in the house for awhile... and then went out in the garden and pulled weeds... my iris are really coming up fast and the new rose plants sending out lots of leaves.. and the leaves are finally off the trees so now when I clean the garden, it will stay clean....always looking for new plants that the peacocks will not like.... :)^

Lala: when I lived in Ojai, it seems to me the peacocks LOVED the bougainvillea but I don't remember them bothering the cymbidiums or azaleas...but then, my boss was feeding them chocolate chip cookies so why would they be interested in plants?? lol Anyway....just sharing a couple of ideas.

Eilene,if you want to see real talent you should go to the Victor Cafe down near the Italian Market in philly. Thats the place with the opera singing waiters of which some actually have gone on to sing for the metropolitan and other opera companies.

OMG! You don't mean to tell me that they are still there after all these years????
Used to go there in 1957!! And when the opera was over for the night, the singers would come over there to eat!! At that time, they had a big room in the rear with the walls lined with the old 78s. Had just about any music you could think of.
Ah, yes........ those were the days, my friend ....... I thought they'd never end........and I guess they didn't!!! rofl
