Just hope it helps. I know she is in a LOT of pain right now.

I would also think your sister has a case against where ever the dog was being housed when it was hit by a car. I know a member of our Club had a good case when his Champion American & Canadian Grand Victor was hit by a car after being let out to relieve himself. He too was in a Kennel being Boarded.

Janna... That's just awful about your SIL's dog. :( So sorry to read that and I can't imagine how you all must feel. So sorry....

Was hoping to catch Paula here. I caught a clump of fluff being brought in and made a gif of what I believe might be a chick. Look at the white spot furthest on the right. Looks like it moves. :X:

She is devastated and hysterical. I am sure the kennel will be held responsible after her grieving is at a more appropriate level.

Penny - Thanks for the link to the "Bald eagle perched over SR 520" story! My sister lives in Seattle and gets to see eagles on a regular basis, lucky thing. She called me the other night all excited because she got to watch a pair mating in Lincoln Park. <3 She walks her dog there and has watched this pair many times. This time she caught them in the act and was so thrilled. Next year I may have to brave the weather and go up to see her in the spring instead of waiting for the warm weather later in the year. Seeing the eagles in action is worth freezing for, right??? :D

How cool Kathie, what a treat in person, Sam is really lucky. We've seen lots of love on our Nest Cams. Loved the eagle on the light post, wow, what a cutie!

I hate the Ad's at the bottom of this page. One should NEVER bleach their own teeth without the Supervision of your Dentist! Why it is a Bleach, and can burn the gum tissue. Some people have had reactions to bleaching as well, and had to discontinue it's use. One buys these over the counter material's thinking it will save them money. In the long run it can cost you so much more. It's best to see your trusted Dentist, and allow him to do the Bleaching. He can monitor the shade change, and the gum tissue for irritation.

Anxiety and Depression are 2 of the foremost disorders in the elder section. Geriatrics has become one of the biggest Specialties in the medical field. Unfortunately, most Seniors are not financially able to just go to a specialist when they feel like it. So they go to their general physician who, most times, just throws some more pills at them. Many times these very same pills just exacerbate their problems. Med dosages for older people have to be adjusted downward just as for children, as they just can't handle them. And of course, adding to their depression at this time in their lives are the loss of a spouse, decreased income, worry about how are they going to take care of themselves and just plain loneliness. It's a very complex problem which should be handled by someone specially trained in Geriatrics.

Yeah - She said their favorite tree is a dead one right next to the path and that there are people and dogs walking right under the eagles all the time. Those birds should get a room if they want privacy! rofl

Anxiety and Depression are very common in young people too and in fact the numbers are rising. No meds for this condition should ever be given and monitored without a doctor.
I thought the ads were taken off!
