Penny, I've been wondering/worried about it too I just get the same old mesage about it being a server issue The hosting site doesn't answer emails . . . my personal opinion is that it's been hacked  I hope we don't lose all that good info that was on there, but I have my doubts I hope there was a back-up in place for all that I'm thinking Norfolk & Maine ought to transfer from phpbb to ipb Judy from Maine already has a temp forum on ipb now I didn't realize how badly I was addicted until I couldn't reach the forums & the cams

I posted a reply in the photo tech board for you Too gray and dismal here this afternoon and i really wanted to go find something to shoot. We have had alot of robbins passing through here today and they were all over my back and front yards "Worming". Some seem to be establishing their territories before the hens show up. I think the males tend to precede the females to select territories and then they begin to "advertise their availability" to the hens |

Linda, You have three photos, but those photos are loooooong image codes. Maybe you could combine your signature and eagle in one graphic(?) I have the same problem - I am right at the limit with what I have (graphic of soaring eagle, name made up in photobucket, and one other graphic. Limit  |

I still think Peetie's bird is a Hawk. Typical wingshape. Also, I think the head would be bigger if it was an eagle. Here's some info from Wikipedia about Buzzards: In the Old World (Europe and stuff) Buzzard can mean: One of several medium-sized, wide-ranging raptors with a robust body and broad wings. In particular, those in the genus Buteo(Hawks). In the Old World, members of this genus are named as "buzzards", but "hawk" is more common in North America. Specifically, in Europe, the Common Buzzard, Buteo buteo, where Buzzard is often used as a synonym. Any raptor which has the word buzzard as part of its name. In the New World Buzzard can mean: A vulture, particularly the American Black Vulture and Turkey Vulture, or as a general term for vultures. In parts of the United States where they are considered pest, particularly in rural areas, a derogatory term for certain birds of prey, such as the Chickenhawk (a common colloquial name referring to both the Red-tailed Hawk and the Cooper's Hawk), or the Duck hawk (known elsewhere as the Peregrine). |
