The speed is nothign more than how fast information can be written onto it. most digitals can handle all varieties of card for that specific camera. From the stevesdigicams site regarding sd cards and sdhc cards ...."SD cards currently range in size from 16MB up to 4GB (if your 4GB card has "SDHC" on it please see the next section.) SD cards come in different transfer speed ratings, SD cards not marked "High Speed" or "Ultra High Speed" are probably only ~2Mb/s capable. The latest cards are capable of transferring data at up to 20Mb/s such as the ATP 150x or Pretec 133x cards....." For most shooters with even the upper end prosumer cameras such as the nikon d90 or canon 50d work fine with the slower cards. The problems arise with cameras which have a high burst rate (many exposures per second such as with a good ole fashioned motor drive on the bottom of a 35mm camera) because its taking so many shots fast that the shots dont get transferred to the card fast enough. I have NEVER noticed a real difference with my normal shooting or even shootign ice hockey. However, i could perhaps notice it on the super expensive canon D1 Mk2 or the nikon d3 but theyre 4000.00 cameras edited-orthotics are rather common from a podiatrist. They normally first see if there is a problem with the way the foot hits the floor when we walk. Initially they could tape /strap the foot to reposition it to see if the patient notices any relief. If there is they may go with an orthotic and take a plaster cast of the lower foot and ankle and decide where additional lift may be required to make the foot land properly with each stride. After casting the foot the mold is sent to some sort of lab the same way they do dentures at a dental lab from the bite mold a dentist makes. The orthotic can be a hard leather , molded plastic or a foam cushioned insert. When i had mine i had very very few incidents of shin splints and never had the tendonitis in my ankle like ive been having recently. |

Didn't they have that same problem last year? Or was it just they weren't sure it was the same established pair from prior years? |

LaLa there was lots of bonding going on last week so I figured that eggs were going to be laid soon. It takes 3 1/2 to 4 hrs to get here from home, but it is well worth the trip. Lots of eagle sightings on the way up. We see eagles sitting in the trees all the time here. |

I have kleptomania, but when it gets bad, I take something for it. I am a Nobody. Nobody is Perfect. Therefore I am Perfect. When you work here, you can name your own salary. I named mine, "Fred". |

There are stop off points constructed along the river just for observers. During certain times of the year you'll see photographers with their big scopes and cameras. Everybody that drives along the road expects people to be weaving occasionally because of the eagles. Surprisingly we've never been in or seen an accident due to eagle watchers. |

Yes, tomorrow is Friday the 13th but Sat. is pi day...314. At the school where my grandson goes they always have pi day and since pi day falls on Sat. this year and tomorrow was full of events, today was pi day. Cherry pies, chocolate cream pie, pumpkin pies, apple pies, etc. By the time he arrived at my home about 2PM he couldn't even look at a dish of ice cream. Chiquita |

This is where we come every weekend to volunteer at the Eagle center. Soar with the Eagles is going on all month there so we'll probably be there Fri. and Sat. instead of just Friday. The center was really busy last weekend. We had to do educational programs hourly to accomodate the crowds. I like to have the forum and the nests running on computer while I'm there and the people working there watch also. Gotta go now have a good night. |
