Marie Too many things going on and now my computer won't let me upgrade my Adobe Active X. Going to go on line to my computer live and let them do it. (When they start talking things like security and registry, I will let the experts handle it. )I think I saw a mention of back pain the other day, but couldn't get to it. I know what my DH is going through and hope I never have to. (Maybe that is what you were referring to) Thanks Going to sign off and let Dell do the driving for the fix. (They ask for permission to access your computer. Then you sit and watch everything they are doing! They are REALLY good) |

Good Morning Cruzers, hope you're all having a great Friday the 13th! Sending a big hug for all of you who need one today. I'm off to the Doc at 10:00am, my sciatica is killing me.
Acupuncture works great when it's at the end of the day, jumping in the car and sitting at a desk for hours just doesn't cut it. So, plan B, my cute regular Doc, I call him Dr. McDreamy, cause he is....Dreamy!I think I'll feel better after some nice hot curry tomorrow, that'll kill what's ailing me.

This is a different nest tree than the original cam tree - last year they used a different tree that is a bit over from their original nest, and this year they decided to use that one again. Unfortunately there is only one cam setup on this nest as opposed to the two that were on the original nest tree, but the sound this year is wonderful. There is a small airport near the nest area, a couple of km away. |

Good Morning, Eagle Peeps! ![]() This is not my photo but I have seen one of these three times now, gliding just above the surface of the wetlands here on base. The first time I glimpsed the gleaming white patch flying by, my heart said "Bald Eagle" and almost stopped! My head quickly corrected that impression and after some research I have identified it as a Northern Harrier, or Marsh Hawk. It has been exciting to see the top side of a hawk for a change and I'm happy to add him to the growing list of raptors I have been lucky enough to observe. Laurie - Glad to hear you are feeling better! to you and to all Cruzers who could use an extra one today...

Kathie I agree - we don't get to see any of them too often from the top - what great pattern/color! |

Hello folks.......Mimi here.....this is my first time chatting since last spring. Hard to imagine that that much time has gone by. I forgot how much I love this site! The folks, the eagles, the sounds are so soothing and encouraging for a nature & sunshine starved Mainer! I was wondering if you folks know how our PH kids from last year are doing these days. Also, the ravens seem to be so prevalent this year....with the CHI eagles as well as here at our nests in Maine.......for those of you who have been watching this longer than I - have the ravens always been such a presence? Hope all you folks are well.......looking forward to a safe and healthy outcome for all of our eagles!
