Oh Carole, now those are two of the cutest Golf Course Critters ever! You're so fortunate to have such great wildlife in your backyard. I walked out to the beach last night before sunset, and saw a pod of dolphins cruising just outside of the surf line. They were jumping like the ones at Sea World. But the best part was three of them were catching waves and surfing in almost to shore, then jumped up and waited for the next set. They surfed till it got to dark to see them. They rock, but where was my camera, in the house. |

I wonder if that's the same pod my friend at work saw off the beach here at Mugu yesterday, Vicki. She said there were lots of them and they were practically close enough to touch. Think I need to go to the beach soon..... |

Whoops, posted this in the wrong thread: Eagle alert: - I'm not sure what time it would be on everyone's area, but check out this evening's episode of Wheel of Fortune - at the end they had somebody come out on stage with an eagle! Sadly it did not drive Vanna White off the stage for good.

They come by almost every afternoon/evening. They're surfers and love their waves. Oh, and cute surfer guys too! The afternoons are a sight to behold on the beach! Maybe on a weekend afternoon, you'll need to come by and check them out. They're hysterical, and I know they love the audience participation.

Breaking News...Pasadena bus evacuated because of suspicious package ![]() Pics taken with an iPhone camera while we were walking Siobhan in the park less than 40 minutes ago.... The evacuated bus with a noisy parcel...Transit Supervisor with female bus driver Police vehicle with open trunk in front of bus..Police interviewing an 'occupant' on bus bench Prepared for anything but at this point the package was out of the bus. Guess it was a false alarm ![]() Edit: Oh and just to make things even more interesting there was a tiny hummer just flitting around over an open grassy area but couldn't get a pic because no zoom on the cell phone camera. Maybe it was looking for all the flowers which were not planted around the entrance this year.

Nighty night, George. I am so happy that getting the screws out of your leg really seemed to help with your pain. Hope the foot specialist can help some more. |

Chick alert at CalTrans. Took me a long time to catch the little bobblehead but I did. Watch closely at 20-25 seconds... First chick at CalTrans Penny... Siobhan is the cutest little dog I have ever seen! I loved the bath pictures and that coat is just amazing. Glad you brought over the raven video from the Maine forum. I had recorded that call a few weeks ago and said it was a raven. Wing at BRI said blue jay but I always said it was a raven. I about fell off my chair at work today when it landed and did my call. Proof positive. |

I thought that might be happening at CalTrans, today! The adult was sort of half crouching, not incubating, every time I checked in! |
