Her cage looks pretty bare right now, except the cuddle toy she's sleeps by. This is the first serious accident in 9 yrs. so I guess we're not doing too bad.

We'll start reintroducing toys when she's recuperated enough after tomorrow's surgery.

Well, I survived my schlepp to the foot doctor and some minor adjustments to my arch support/orthotic were made.  I noticed a big difference on the 3/4mile walk home from the bus too! :)^

Not that i want to bore anyone but my crocuses have started to fully bloom .....

I imagine seeing this beautiful thing pop up after a freezing winter is welcome indeed...beautiful George... glad you are feeling better in general...

I sure hope she's okay soon. When my cockatiels have something wrong, I can't get them help quick enough. Luckily, the little rascals have been pretty tough, one is 22 and the other 17. Both girls, mother and daughter. I'm the other mom. I know a bird bleeding is extremely dangerous!

I see that Penny had already given us a wing up about the two eagles at the Maine nest. (One still remains). Based on what she posted, they may be laying eggs soon!
