Lala .... That sounds cool. Looking forward to it already.

We don't have to fly through though ... do we?

Can you tell we are starting to get excited ... not long to go now! :D

Thanks, Lala, for posting one of your pics. It is a beautiful nest and so is your picture! You're right about that family being so lucky. I wonder if they know and/or care?

I know Pat & Roy are gonna love seeing them and the chicks on your guided tour!

"this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old. " rofl rofl rofl Needless to say, I flunked royally!

Loved your pictures of the egrets, Lala! Most of the ones I see at Mugu have soaking wet feathers and you don't get to see the fineness of them as in your shots.

Jill - What happened to Africa??? You sure do get around! Wonderful pictures - you are putting in a lot of hours scanning all these photos. I have a few hundred that need doing if you're not too tired of it when you finish yours! :D

Sheila, Dave really hated taking his birthday hat off, but one of our beanies claimed it the minute we walked in the door.....and Dave, being the sweetheart that he is, couldn't say no to the beanie and gave it to him.

We were all happy to see Pete & Peetie at the gathering last night too. Joanie & Scott are both such fun, throughtful and creative people!

OK a few highlights:

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Caught a tar bubble! - Gamble House - Here comes Steffani - a cozy fire for Phil Jr.!

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Geo cache at the gliding place by the ocean behind Salk - - 1/2 of the Salk Buildings - looking thru the courtyard between the 2 buildings towards the ocean - and check this out - who knew Peet had a store here in La Jolla!

Too much work making slide show now - will do when home but this is a little of what we've seen! Tomorrow off to San Diego!
