Awesome pictures Linda The feathers on the Egret were spectacular. Thanks for the compliment Penny. Your a doll. Loved the slideshow DH and I are off the Santa Clarita again this morning to pick up a china cabinet. Grandmother of a friend passed last month and no one in the family wants her stuff. Ethan Allen) Great bargin. Feel guilty, but we do appreciate the opportunity. Kenny and I enjoy having the time just to ourselves. We don't get that much. Well, thanks again to all who made us feel welcome at the dinner. Hoping this will lead to some new and lasting friendships. Eagleaddict

Good morning! Whooper Update; The juveniles from the 2008 migration remain at their winter sites at Chassahowitzka and St. Marks. Any day now, when the conditions are right (and the team does not know exactly what combination of conditions that will be) the Class of 2008 will begin their northward migration on their own. Several of the adult whoopers from previous years are already back in their territories in Wisconsin. The early birds get the best nest areas! The juveniles are starting to look more like adults, getting their red crowns on the top of their heads, their black moustache feathers, and their adult voices. beautiful #829 Operation Migration Photo Journal - recent pictures

Panda pacing back and forth from one door to another and when he reached each door, he would throw his whole body sideways into the door to let someone know that he was, (wait, I'm gonna shout) HUNGRY!!![]()

Marie, terrific zoo pictures, wow. Funny expression on the gorilla's face, and that panda really does look like he's hungry with the way he is pacing. Eagleaddict, a chance to have an Ethan Allen china cabinet is something not to be missed. |

And on our flight back, this gentleman allowed us to be guest on his flight. Anyone reconize him? Before takeoff he came thru the plane to shake everyone's hand. Very nice guy.. He and his men (secret service) really get the job done. We were first in line for takeoff.

Anyone watching the Norfolk nest this morning? Eagle sitting on nest is very wrestless. He/She keeps getting up and moving the eggs. Just can't seem to sit still.

Great shot of President James Earl Carter! He really seems like the proverbial Southern Gentleman to the hilt! The only time I ever had the chance to see him in person was when Ronald Regan was inaugurated in 1981.
