Laurie, hope everything works out for you with your new boss. It will be an adjustment but at least you already know and like him. It's hard to say good-bye to an administrator that you really have a good rapport with.

Good morning everyone. And for the second day in a row, I just mistakenly posted this in NO, but this time I think I was faster than a moderator in moving it. I guess I'm just excited to be able to chat. I'm here at my Saturday job at an insurance company. I can log onto the forum and chat (I'm the only one here at work usually), but the computer I use does not have an e-mail account. And I only have one monitor I've always here, but usually shown up as a "guest". Now that I've joined, I can chat.

Definitely a chick in Oklahoma. He's not really happy right now because dad is late with his fish delivery and mom keeps rolling him. Hey, I'm a chick not an egg. ![]() |

Just heard news report on local radio about the 150th birthday party at the Philadelphia Zoo today and had to share this tidbit of the festivities. Apparantly besides cake for both the patrons and the residents of the zoo, the University of Pennsylvania Band was going around from animal habitat to habitat playing topical tunes. So in front of "the Cat House" they played "eye of the tiger" from one of the Rocky films. However...in front of the Eagle Enclosure they struck up The Star Spangled Banner and according to the radio reporter as if almost on cue when they finished the Bald Eagle spread his wings and appeared to take a bow as the crowd cheered. Wish i had taken the trip into philly to see the festivities |

EveryoneI did get my two injections yesterday. It was a cinch After I came home I had to lay down for 4 hours, no driving for 6 hours ect. My DH picked up my pain meds and when I took those I was out like a light The injections feel like they took the edge off(as far as pain) but he did say they are a series and it takes time. I shall test it out today because there are a few sales at the store that I want to hit before it ends. |

Hmm hope you wont have to wrestle your way into the bargain hunter frenzy. Mom always preferred to use a decent sized handbag with sharp corners to jab her way thru to get the goodies. Of course to test your back out, perhaps if you put a brick or two into yours you not only would have some physical therapy lugging it around but also a good way to bash anyone who gets that bargain that was "Meant for you first" As a kid i can remember mom diving into the bargain piles and it was a study on darwin to see who came out with the best bargains

Hi Andie, thanks for checking in. Sometimes the injections do take time. Hope you enjoy the day fairly pain free. Enjoy the sales.

Thanks Cheryl. I'm pretty confident that things will be well with new boss. I've known and worked with him as a faculty at work. He's pretty easy going so I'm sure he will be as administrator as well.
