Cheryl & Pat - The Hornby eagles will always be special, they are the ones that turned me into an eagleholic. They made me jump out of my chair when the sound came on.......very distinct calls

I remember it was the heartbreak of the Hornby nest that brought a lot of our Canadian friends to the PH nest....for that we are truly grateful. I'm so happy to see them with an egg this year and so hope for success this year.

Good Morning Peeps. Sunny and cool at 55F in Pasadena right now. I too came to the Channel Island PH nest after the Hornby nest failure but will always love those birds...Here is a small video of their first egg laid yesterday: First Egg for the Hornby Eagles on Mar. 22nd Click on image for video Video by Beans (3:51) |

Good Morning, Eagle Peeps! Karen, it is good to see you back in the nest! Loved the pix of the silly duck with her eggs in the rocks - so exposed! Hope they are as invisible to predators as they were to me. Have to go do some w**k but will check in as time allows. So glad the wind has died down today - our PH eagles have strong stomachs I guess - I would've been seriously seasick! |

Well I've done all I can for Spring Cl**ning today. I have an appointment to get my car inspected this afternoon. My kitchen is almost done. Just one more wall and the floors and curtains to do. Oh yes, and the dreaded oven cleaning. Anyone know how clean an electric oven without using that nasty chemical spray stuff???? |
