George your video clearly shows that the alpha eaglet is trying for everything even when it is too large to go down the hatch...that is a very agressive female for sure ![]() I'm not worried about these 3 at all because these parents have a big supply of fish in the larder at all times and have managed to successfully fledge 3 eaglets in the past.

Great video Penny. Dad seemed a little embarrassed and tried to change the subject by parading around the big fish. |

Hi Penny Beautiful shots of the Norfolk pair, and the video was priceless. I so want to see them succeed this year after last year's fiasco. Everything looks golden at this point and I'm thrilled to see that.

Loved all the news on the nests today. The Norfork pair is like a childrens storybook tale of two eagles in love. So sweet how he feeds her. Haven't seen that before. Long day. Car had driver's side front brake lock up. Well not completely. The wheel could turn, but reluctantly. When I got home, I could smell burning rubber, and the rims on that wheel were very HOT to the touch. Needs new brake calipar (sp) and brake pads on both front wheels. Now scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. The guy who was to do it - his wife went into the hospital. She had issues with the last pregnacy, and is now six weeks along on the second. Lots of tests being done, headaches, high blood pressure. Prayers appreciated for this young couple. He just got out of the military.Better hit the hay..... ![]() |
