We're on our way to The Huntington for a bit but before I leave, I just wanted to remind everyone that today at 8:30 pm, the world will turn off the lights just for one hour - Earth Hour - to show it's possible to take action on climate change. Switching your lights off is just one simple action that you can take to help make a difference and sends a powerful message that we care about the Planet. Last year, World Wildlife Fund Canada pioneered Earth Hour and it was a huge success! More than 30 countries participated. In Canada about 10 million Canadians participated in more than 150 cities across Canada. In Toronto, thousands of homes and businesses across the city switched off their lights and the electricity demand dropped 8.7% during Earth Hour. ![]() Please encourage everyone to turn off their lights and participate in Earth Hour tonight to ensure its success Climate change is the biggest environmental threat to our Planet and the number one concern for everyone. We are already seeing its impact. I am committed to Earth Hour and encourage you to sign-up at www.earthhour.org |

Penny, we'll be participating in Earth Hour here, although I haven't signed us up yet. Really enjoyed all the photos and slideshows of the Cruzers' get-together last night. Sorry I woke you up this morning, Jann. I forgot about the party and the probable late night afterwards.Petra, your new kitty knows a good place to find something tasty. I thought just dogs (like my dog, for instance ) liked the dishwasher leftovers.

I'm sure glad I don't live with that Monster Mommie. I find that hard to swallow. Your more couragous than I am Penny. Didn't realize they had to take so much. Guess it toughens them up. Nice photos posted for the last get-together. I am hoping DH and I can work out to drive up for the April meeting in Ojai. Close to a three hour drive. Hoping to come up early and spend the night somewhere. Maybe Solvang, then drive back down for dinner. Boccali's I believe. Eagleaddict |

Penny, We will have our lights off also. Can't say it's a full fledged attempt at support, as we will not be home. But giving it a partial shot. Give our best to Allan Eagleaddict
