Your new kitty looks so happy I've been planting my garden! Tomatoes. green beans, zucchini, straight neck yellow squash, and cucumbers. There's still a little room for some herbs. Great pictures of last night I haven't heard about the orchids yet but the new sprout under the leaves on the spike is another set of leaves hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm |

I did, but I don't know what's up with my camera - if I go out and about tomorrow I can take it and get the card read otherwise I'm going to have to wait for my daughter to come home because I am borderline computer illiterate.... |

Yep I'm sure they will George. Although since Dr Sharpe doesn't have any eggs or chicks at the facility this year he can sleep! When he does the hatchings/incubation he is like an expectant father pacing, checking and then the endless feedings. And it is noisy too  At least he has 8 weeks until banding. Now all they do is monitor and hike around alot. :soar: :soar: Sure is eggciting though |

And I can't help but remember my tour last year waiting so patiently for Miracle to hatch. Right now when I see the parent look into the nest bowl, I think that they can hear the little one(s) peep. I had this video last year when Dr Sharpe used the little eagle to help the little one "break out"

Kewl! Glad they got to see it before they left. Deb & I were text messaging while we crawled along in the heavy traffic home until they boarded their plane just before 3:30. We just got home about an hour ago. We had a great time. It was so worth it.....traffic and all. Easy to say now that I'm home. But you know us.....we'll do it all over again next month!Cheryl, hope I wasn't too grumpy when you called this morning...and hope I didn't make you feel bad. It was/is exciting news and I am honored that you called all the way from Canada to let me know. You are so thoughtful! Normally I am up by then, but I was up til 3 working on the pictures from Endless Summer and then had a hard time getting to sleep. It'll be nice to be in my own bed tonight. If I was grumpy, please accept my most humble apology and a great big hug! Gonna go check on the nests now. See ya in NW. |
