Make way for Mallards

Did you say Breakfast??

I love your pics of the mallards. I was so excited to see them as I have a pair, Mac & Mavis, so named by my grandson, who have been coming to my house for the last four years. I live in a typical so cal residential neighborhood so they are quite the talk around here. Everyone really gets a kick out of them. Your shot of them flying in is especially wonderful.....so glad you shared. :D :)^

From Gary's description, I thought he was capturing shots of 'George'(no offense, Leica - I didn't name him!), the Great Blue Heron that has staked out the dock right in front of our office as HIS territory.... this guy is a lovely specimen of the California Brown Pelican... in...

rofl rofl I don't know that it ever sunk in about breed of bird - all I heard was George and couldn't get past the name rofl rofl next time I'll listen more carefully cause apparently ES didn't either ...... he stopped listening at George too! rofl
