Deb, what kind of architecture does ES do - homes, office buildings, industrial? Seeing those buildings in California must have been like walking into a candy store for him!

Gary works at SOM (Skidmore Owens Merrill - Sears Tower, etc. ) and is currently working on the Freedom Tower project in Manhattan!

He loves ultra modern home designs but has mostly worked in commercial - and whenever we travel, we squeeze lots of architecture in - he particularly makes an effort to visit Frank Lloyd Wright and Corbusier .......

The Freedom Tower - that's the one that's being built on the site of the World Trade Centre Towers, isn't it? That must be quite an honour to work on that!

how cute is that "fool" kitty!

The Tower wasn't his first project at SOM but somehow he got to that team - he worked on the details for the lobby and some of the top of the building and is also now doing construction drawings and detail - helping to make it all come together. It is very special ..... <3 AND their office is only a couple blocks away from the site so he does get to see the progress from time to time!

Deb, thanks for the revisit to egg pipping. Fascinating stuff.

I'm enjoying looking at your trip to SoCal. Since I didn't get to see you in person this trip, at least I get to see your pictures.

Anybody else seeing upside down stuff on youtube. I know it's April fools but I want to watch the subscription videos and they go away when you watch them.

edit. Maybe it's just the subscriptions because I can watch my own posted videos without a problem.

Good morning!

Robin
, I just love that April Fool kitty. Maybe today will be Petra's special day to get her cat.

Good news, George, about the puppy mill owner pleading guilty, and the stronger new laws.

Deb, two more slideshows for me to watch when I get a chance. :)^ :clk: Looks like we need to return to San Diego.

eaglehandler, your last post just made me  . I know you are serious but it is funny.

I counted the days to the first hatch at the PH nest last year and it took 37 days (Feb. had 29 days last year). :X:

Enjoy your day, everyone.
