Lala...Opened up my current Sunset Mag. today and thought of you as they had articles on Rogers Gardens and chickens.

ElaineRuth...I love the video of the dancers in the train station. There is another one, somewhat similar, done in Central Station in NY.

I am making myself crazy! I am so busy at work with last minute tax returns, and the billing and e-files for our firm, and I am trying to keep up with all of "our" nests plus a couple more - thank goodness those hummers fledged! On top of it all, I try to keep reading the forum, keep an eye on NO to see what I'm missing, keep up with my own email, AND a couple other lists I'm on. Two weeks from today I'll have the day off!!!!! :8O: :8O: :8O: :8O: Oh yeah, I have a family, too! rofl rofl

ER  -  We don't have HBO but I've read all the #1 Ladies Detective Agency books.  Just love them.  They really grew on me and now I can hardly wait for a new one.  My DIL gave me a set of the first five a couple of years ago and I was hooked.

Are they as good as Agatha Christie books Katie? I may have to go looking for some of them at the thrift stores! :D

Jill - They are very different. Take place in Botswana, Africa and the author is Alexander McCall Smith. I started with the first in the series and have read them in order so the characters have grown on me. Hope you enjoy them.

Wanted to ask any of you who have HBO, did you see the first episode of "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency"?  It came on Sunday nite and now they have it on HBO On Demand (free) all this week.  It's wonderful.  If you can get the HBOOD, be sure to look at the 2 or 3 links that tell you about the making of the show and the actors, etc.  I've seen it 3 times already!  Great cast, too.
Jill, I was thinking of you and how much you might enjoy it!

Hi ER, I caught the episode after it started, love it. You're right about the cast too, outstanding. I'll have to look it up so I can DVR it.

My DH usually waits to the last minute Linda, but the accountant we've been going to for two years now sends us a paper with the appointment already on it! So that gets DH in gear! So our returns are done & filed! :P

I just got the new federal tax schedule at work last week & I'm fuming! I will now pay over $100 more to the federal government every two weeks! And I don't make anywhere near the $250,000 that the Pres said you would have to earn over to have your taxes increase! I have a feeling not many people realize this, but they will on their very next paycheck! :(
