Froona was the resident expert on all things peregrine in another nest cam forum. whenever anyone had a question she was the one to go to. She had valued information that was often easy to find in the Froona's Corner portion of that board community on BCAW. |

Actually, Joanie, we had an adult version of that not long ago here in our neighborhood. Someone started pounding on our door one weekend morning...a neighbor...everyone out of bed and come as you are...actually, we are on a cul-de-sac and we all go way back, some more than 30 years. It was fun but I believe some did some touching up before breakfast!!! Chiquita |

Wow, Sara! That is one awesome eagle! Would love to know how much it is but probably a gazillion bucks! Cute beanie on the kayak pic Looks like you will have a lot of fun with that one. My brother had a kayak that he used to take down the Rogue River in Ore. He had a house right on the river. Go down the stairs at the back of the house and there is the river. Had lots of fun with it. Now he lives in Wash. State. Don't know if he has a place to use it there.

This foreclosure epidemic we are undergoing has everyone to blame. The politicians, the bankers and the borrowers who bit off more than they could chew with their mortgage payments. With them making a wrong assumption in hat their incomes and that their home value would increase. This home crisis has enough blame to go around and not only upon one party. If i were into real estate now, I too would be buying whether its a retirees home who is moving, the corporate executive who is transferring or even a foreclosure sale...Simple investment strategy buy when hte market is low then sell when it soars again. One nifty thing about real estate is that theyre not making any more of it. Sorry but everyone seems to blame all the other parties when they are equally to blame for their problems. As i said there is enough blame to be shared amongst the irresponsible bankers, politicians and borrowers. While I dont like to see anyone lose their home perhaps next time they wont bite off more than they can chew and buy one that they could actually afford. Sometimes a good financial loss can be a good teaching tool so as you dont do it again and are more carefull

George...not all of the borrowers bit off more than they could chew and lost their homes. Some of them had jobs and could pay for their mortgage but then got laid off/fired/let go for whatever reason. Those are the ones I really feel bad for. (Tho I feel bad for all that lost their homes). |
