Sandie, I am so sorry to have to say that I was one of the watchers who saw K-10 move what most certainly (pending a naturalist's verification) the body of the little chick hatched on Friday. It was, unfortunately, pretty clear to see what it was. Now K-10 has hunkered down and is incubating the second egg - which we are all watching and praying will hatch a healthy chick. We were all worried that something was not right with this first chick and now, sadly, it seems our instincts and fears were correct. :'(

:'(
