It is a great picture! It seems you always have an idea in your mind of how certain people will look, and they often don't look at all like that! It looks like they (and whoever was there with them) were having a wonderful time!

I hear the sound of drip drip on Pelican Harbor. So different from the weather here today in San Diego county. Sunny and a little to warm for me.

Deanna: It was like that here yesterday, too...shorts weather. Today is rainy and cold sweats weather. Amazing how quickly it changes.

Quebec, California, and North Carolina Cruzers brought together by their love of eagles. What a special photo of June, Michele, and Elaine Ruth. <3 <3 <3

Thank you for taking the picture, Joanie, and Jann for insisting on the cell phone photo. :)^ :clk:

I have no nautical charts for the nest coast and am wondering. As the eagle flies, how far is Catalina from Santa Cruz?

George, I would guess around 30 miles or so... Anacapa Island is in between them for a rest stop....

Hey Linda/lmorton .... I am going to be cheeky!

Those 3 Cruzers have biographies ... and all 3 have photos on them.

Now someone-else .... also has a bio ... but no photograph at present!

What were you saying .... "It seems you always have an idea in your mind of how certain people will look .... etc etc."

How about it? Pretty please ... can I have a photograph for your bio? :P :D

Mind ... you are not alone ... I have reminded quite a few folks over the years about photographs ... maybe one of these days they will surprise me!

Yes, Cumbrian, I know! I should check more of the bios for pics. And I promise I will send you one for me someday. I'm kinda like George - I don't like to have my picture taken. I do have one somewhere on my computer that isn't too bad, but I won't have time to look for it until after tax season. I you don't have it in a month, remind me again.

Was spending the day with kids at Casitas.. They have been camping there since Thursday... we managed to break camp before the rain really started but I was there alone for awhile and had to hustle as the rain came over the lake towards me.. I had a nice little fire and was enjoying the weather.....now I'm thinking of all the tent campers around me with the kids... One campsite had grandparents with 5 granddsons and two sets of parents.... they were lucky up until now....I had to send the rangers back to to our camp area to talk with some boys that had BB Guns... no guns allowed at lake and they were walking the shore with them :8O: :8O: :8O:
