The local news pages had another story about a Channel Island today... San Nicolas (which I believe is the actual island referred to in Scott O'Dell's "Island Of The Blue Dolphins") is overrun with feral cats and they are going to start removing them to bring back the balance of wildlife and birds that the cats keep at bay.

Thought some of you might enjoy reading this. Thanks goodness they are going to find homes for some of the cats-- I guess the younger ones they can socialize.

Well, I hope i didnt miss much but I had this hockey game to go to as it was the last one to be played at the soon to be demolished Spectrum here.

However, I went to a hockey game and a fight broke out. In fact 2 which got 4 5 minute majors for fighting. Before the end of the first period.

With the hat and the long blonde hair, at first glance it looked like it could be one of your granddaughters trying on Easter hats. The photo doesn't really look like a dog!

Ed: Though the hair looks a bit messy for one of the girls!

Summer's hair looks like that from the back...

Yes, Carole - Maritimer born and bred - New Brunswick and Nova Scotia!

Ojailala - yes - it was beyond exciting to see the :<<>>: - all the way to the exit and back, I just kept praying "Please still be there, please still be there." :X:
I thought the geese were ducks at first, until I opened my car window, and heard the honking. There were actually 3 different groups of from 10-20 in each group. And there were about 40 more in a flooded farmer's field. I had bought a new camera to use on my IWS tour in June and had it with me so I could 'practise' - good camera - slowly learning camera user. :clk:
