Dr Sharpe, I was wondering if the PH nest had a bee's nest or an extreme amount of biting insects, would this be a major concern regarding the newborn chicks survival...Seems to be more bugs on the nest this year than last. Thanks in advance to your reply. |

Biting insects should affect the adults too, and I haven't seen that. We tend to avoid the nest and haven't been near it since rescuing the chicks last year. I don't think there is a bee's nest there. |
