Even though we have lost the joy of watching K10 and K26 taking care of their eaglets this nesting season, I hope you all

and can spend some time watching the other nests today to lighten your heavy hearts over the loss at PH. :Hugs:

Mrs. Goose thank you for sharing the wonderful slide show you posted of the Norfolk eagles yesterday. The Canada goose coming in for a landing with feet splayed was such a hoot too :D

Posted Image

I hope you get lots of other critters to share with us today when you go back.
:)^

Good Morning Cruzers, wishing you all a Happy Easter, and hope this Easter brings a new day for our PH parents. I wish it were earlier in the season, and we could hope for another life in the PH nest, but I doubt that's to be till 2010.

My arm is feeling 100% better following Thursday's Surgery, however, my heart aches terribly for K26 & K10 and their sweet innocent chicks. :'(

caarole intersting look at the colorado 3 - the feather development is quite pronounced so it's easy enough to figure out who 3rd hatchling is but they all look healthy so he'll soon catch up! thanks

vicki glad to hear your making progress and all is better

Not feeling chatty, but I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and a happy spring, and thank you all for your beautiful Easter messages.

Happy belated birthday Paula
.

I've decorated those Checkoslavakian eggs Robin . It's done by applying wax on whichever areas you don't want dyed, dipping, then removing the wax and creating the nest design with the wax, dip, etc. Very painstaking, very rewarding.

Lovely Easter presentation Martha, er, LaLa. Just beautiful.

Hope you all have a wonderful day whatever you do. <3

HAPPY EASTER!! Love all the Easter pics this morning...

Beautiful Easter display Lala, you are such a talented lady!

Sara years ago I purchased a kit to learn to do those Chek eggs. I read the instructions and somehow never did manage to try it  LOL. They are so lovely, thanks for the pic Robin.

Belated Happy Birthday to you Paula.

I love your Easter arangement, Lala...birdie, grass, chocolate eggs, real decorated eggs and the spring cupcakes...just perfect. Don't you just love the glass tiered cake plates?...adds a nice dimension to an arrangement. I like the tall lamp to highlight the space. I find the tall slender lamps can be moved around and used easily in a small spot. I first noticed this type of lamp arrangement at Catalina. There is a home on Eucalyptus in Avalon that I like...it's about 6-7 years old, two story, wood exterior. DH and I were in line one morning waiting for the Express to Avalon when we got to talking to the lady standing next to us. We got to talking about homes in Avalon and I mentioned the home on Eucalyptus that I liked and she said it was hers...she was an interior decorator. Sooooo, I began to pay more attention to the interior when I could and noticed that on the open book case in the livingroom she has placed three of these tall lamps in an arrangement together, each a different height and design but together they looked nice. When she is home one of the double front doors is open and when she is away she has an arrangement of plants on the steps.
