Marti, good news on the little dove and her 'wingersize'. Sounds like she's a lucky Easter Dove.

I think I would have more luck with the rice, lentils and beans than I would with the wax method of painting eggs! |

Well, ive been unable to check in for four hours as we had lost electric at noon here. Not sure why as its neither windy nor is it cold enough for sleet covered wires. Sun is out too here but cold. Guess some bozo ran into a pole or something. HAPPY EASTER!! |

Awesome. That is truly a labor of love....do you think he draws anything on the egg first or just 'wings' it? |

Carole, love the backyard critters. Very cute! Being a native Southern Californian, I've never seen a cardinal, and to know they're a backyard bird is so cool. I guess next winter, we'll have the pond critters again. Keep those backyard ones coming.

Does anyone remember the grocery store cake that was a "cake roll" with jelly filling?? I was just at Wallyworld, and I bought something from their bakery that I hope tastes as good as it looks! Carrot cake roll with lots of cream cheese frosting in the roll (a little ice cream on top ought to do it!) Hey, it's Easter here. That's my designated Easter Basket of choice.

Penny, I think he wings it. Marti -- sounds delish! I love carrot cake, and the frosting has to be a cream cheese frosting! Hmm. I wonder what a butter cream frosting would taste like on carrot cake . . . |
