Happens a couple of times a year here in Maine, and it travels down the coast. Which makes me wonder about the weather being a main factor. My Aunt lives 5 hours away down the coast and her weather is often very different than mine yet when red tide strikes here she can count on it making it's way there in about a week or so.

Thank you, Karen - I needed that!!! You can't watch that bird boogie too many times! rofl rofl rofl You know why I'm not commenting on your pictures and slide shows, right? Can't see 'em from here.

But I did ask my dad to take me over to Carlsbad to see the flower fields when I was down there this weekend. It was such a zoo that we didn't go in, but I got a look at all those gorgeous ranunculus (ranunculi?) anyway. Thanks for the wing up on that. If I'd had more time I would've given you a jingle for coffee but this was a really quick trip - maybe next time, OK?

Oh Kathie...its ok! I was too busy this wknd anyway what with Easter and all. Plus we are refinancing our home and an appraiser was coming today so I spent most of Sat. cl*@ning  I know we will get together again sometime. And I know you will check out the pics when you can. I have so much trouble with Picasa I gave up  It's not a very user friendly program and this user wasn't very friendly when using it, either rofl

Mrs. Goose...Loved the trip through Norfolk Bostanical Gardens...wisteria, pansies/violas, azaleas, pond critters and all the trees in bloom.

Well, is Gilles still the leader after tonight's DWTS? There's just something about that guy...Oh, I know everyone is just swooning over him...can't put my finger on it...he seems just too full of himself.

Go Padres!!!
