Welcome back Jann. I love the whole San Diego Zoo experience...especially the African fish eagle and the Eagle owl I'm sure June had the best time on her trip...sorry we were unable to meet her, but we will be in Montreal at the end of May for DS grad so maybe we can touch base then. Thanks for all the great 's

Jill, when the house was going through some major reconstruction, he was wearing a yellow hard hat with a tool box nearby.... Take pics when you see him change... Sheila and Roger keep an eye on him too... I drove by this house three times a week for two years to get to work on Mission St... so saw doggie in many cute things.... |

I ride my bike past him 5 days a week! I wish I had taken pictures at Christmas as they built a sleigh for him & put presents in it! I did see the hard hat on him during their remodel. The people who bought it from Annette are nice folks (French).

Dressing up the doggie reminds me of our neighbor that puts out about 100 flamingos on his front lawn at Christmas along with several large lighted palm trees. After Christmas they leave one flamingo in the yard and dress it for the season...Mardi Gras beads for Mardi Gras, dark green top hat, crisp white bow tie and a green vest for St. Pat's day, etc. Such sad news, Lala. Thinking of you all. Chiquita |

Los Osos has bear statues at the town limits and somebody always makes sure the bear is in suitable attire for whatever holiday is imminent. And there is a sculture up in Seattle called "Waiting for the Bus" that consists of several bronze people and a dog. They are always dressed up too. I think that's such a fun idea! Linda - I'm getting a kick out of people commenting on your photos today. As usual, I can't see them from here at work but I remember looking at them last night on your camera! The head-butting squirrel is my favorite! My sympathies to your friends' family and to you and yours. What a tragic accident and so unneccessary....
