I Boston Paul Revere's Ride LISTEN, my children, and you shall hear Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five; Hardly a man is now alive Who remembers that famous day and year. He said to his friend, "If the British march By land or sea from the town to-night, Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch Of the North Church tower as a signal light, One, if by land, and two, if by sea; And I on the opposite shore will be, Ready to ride and spread the alarm Through every Middlesex village and farm, For the country folk to be up and to arm. http://www.paulreverehouse.org/ride/poem.shtml An Interactive Map of Paul Revere's Ride http://www.paulreverehouse.org/ride/virtual.shtml |

Marti, the wood carvings are beautiful. We have old oak trees here in Ojai and when they fall in a yard people will carve them into benches with designs. |

I was eggspecting to be shooting the local eagle nest near me but my travel pal had problems with stiff joints and i was up all night with a @#$#$ migraine headache. Not a happy camper as its supposed to be nice and warm here in the mid 70s. But, in the words of a song title by Ruby and The Romantics , "our day will come". |

Good morning all from overcast, chilly, Maine. Have a quick question - What is the purpose of the Zeta boards? I always go to them when they are mentioned here, sure I am missing something but it just seems to be pretty much the same things that we have here, just a bit more "prettied up" graphically. Is there something that I am missing....something there that we don't get here?
