Hi all! :}^

I just got back from my second kayaking trip of the season. And boy, was it worth it! I discovered two new bald eagle's nests, and saw five eagles in all; two mature pairs and a juvenile. I took some pictures, but I don't have a fancy camera with a telephoto lens, so they aren't great. Thought I'd share anyway.

First nest, with an eagle in it on the left (look really hard and you can see the white head) Mate was in a tree not too far away, but I didn't get a picture of him.

Second nest with an eagle in it. Got to see both of them in the nest at one point, but didn't get a picture.

Mate in a tree a couple hundred feet away:

And last but not least, a juvenile very well disguised in the trees:

Alison, thanks for sharing the photos from your kayaking trip. Congratulations on discovering two new bald eagle nests! Goose and I are having so much fun looking for new nests on the weekend. We have discovered six active bald eagle nests this year but have not tried kayaking yet. Sounds like fun. :soar:

<3 Hello to all my fello/fella cruzers, LOL! DH and I had a great time at Boccali's. We were able to get to know more of you, and really enjoyed the company.
Thanks for all the wonderful little gifts. We have some great new memories. Stopped off in Hollywood on the way home this morning and walked around awhile. Not in any hurry to get home. Back to work tomorrow, YUCK!
Happy Birthday to Dr. Sharpe.
Happy anniversary to Jann and Dave.
DH passed out from all the driving around, think I'll join him. By for now. <3
