Petra, glad that you are starting to feel better. Maybe your cats are all excited about the nice weather! They'll enjoy their new outdoor enclosure when it arrives.

Laurie, hope your back starts feeling better.

I'm teaching French this afternoon so will have to log off soon.

:}^ Carole,
Thank you once again for the fabulous Eagleland ^"^ photos every morning. Ten ^"^ now? It's amazing so see the different stages of development they are in by comparison.
I have now added the Norfolk nest to my favorites at work, and will have it up immediately when I get here at 7AM on Wednesday (which happens to be my DH's birthday) for the banding.

:}^ everyone ...

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to all who attended the Picnic and Dinner on Saturday ... it was just super to renew acquaintence with some and to meet new A-49 Cruzers. Thanks Topa .. Lala and Cynthia for all your hard work.

Lala and Sara meeting us at the airport and then spending time with them as we drove up to Carpinteria ... via Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive ..."Pretty Woman" ... and the Farmer's Market and the Manor ... just perfect!

Staying with peppermint and her son Brett ... super ... and she was a wonderful guide around Ojai ... and Roy even got his Biscuits and Gravy! Then to visit Lala's beautiful home and to meet some of the family too ... icing on the cake that day!

Then the Saturday events ... well ... if you haven't attended an A-49 Cruzers' event ... you really need to try and get to one .....

OK, time to get serious about work. Tax day Wednesday left my desk a mess, off Thursday, in Friday to do a hard backup, shuffle some desk stuff so I knew what was there and where, and now to tackle it. I'll still be on, watching the nests and posting when I can. :X:

Peetie I did not know you were sick. What this 1o mg stuff??? Poor baby....got it from the kitties:

Laurie does the mommy do all of the feeding? No dad to help? They are so teeensy. I'll trade you one back for one body!!! Groan. Note to self. NEVER move again. Other note to self....get rid of some stuff. Wait make that LOTS of stuff.

Pat and Roy aren't those limo trucks just a scream? I'll bet you need one of those to haul all your crafting things in. I'll see if I can find one for you. I bet someone has one for sale. Wonder what they put in the back "truck bed" part? Probably all those purchases you see those movie stars coming out of the stores with. You look like you were well attended to. Darn it I'm sorry I missed seeing you. :'(

Lala your deck just looks scrumptous. That must be so pleasant to hang out there. Do the Peacocks still think you built it for them? I have not seen too many pics lately of your owl. Is it still there? Jann and Dave think I have an owl in one of the trees across the street. I did tell the one that lived by me that I was moving.

Jann and Dave you need an annual pass to the WAP. I want to go too!!
I did not think about going down there on the train. I could probably do that. I'll keep an eye out for a house for you here on the beach when you want to move.

Vickie you keep and eye out on the beach too. Oh BTW if you hear of a nice little studio my daughter wants to move too. But she wants to stay in Oxnard for school. And be near a bus line.

There was this constant "noise" all night last night. The beautiful sound of the ocean.

I have to have a chat with this black cat. It thinks it lives here and wants to visit Bernie. Not such a good idea.

Do we have anyone that lives in Minnesota? Their license plate has an Eagle on it. Saw that just the other day!!!

remember that in hot weather - water is good - but TOO MUCH water is bad

try to do 2 water to 1 gatoraide type drink - too much water flushes your system and your electrolyte balance goes out of whack and that's bad.........

stay cool - in the shade! be careful.

heey SANDIE i'm not really sick that i lay on bed....
but i try anti depressants meds and there i was sick from

now i've other anti depressants and i didn't start with 25 mg my doctor gave me
but i start with 5 mg (cause my dh have same meds but than 10 mg and i brake those tablets so i've 5 mg)

and i'm gonna try today with 10mg.....cause 5 mg goes okay last few days...

so i'll see what happen when i take 10mg

and so i go step by step "higher" till what's necessary

and than i must wait few weeks before the meds do their work

so nothing really wrong .... thank god not....

and i got a GREAT MESSAGE today...

my DAD is going to hospital to cardiologe for check (first time)

AND ALL IS OKAY YEEEEEHAAA

he may go with vacation by car and caravan this summer to south Germany
where they come for years already

and he must come back for controle/check over 1 year

so great news......yippee

Good Morning.
I am reposting the slideshow of the Susquehanna triplets in the hope that a more experienced eagle viewer will venture a guess as to how old these eaglets might be. When we visited the nest two weeks ago the chicks were not visible but we think they were to small to be seen from our vantage point or may have been sleeping for the time we were there. We think they may be four or five weeks old.

Click on the link for slideshow.

That looks about right....kinda hard to tell in the light....still looked like some fuzz on top of their heads, too.
