I was at the Panda video site and saw a link for a Google Live Cams Toolbar. It looked great and I saved it (instead of running it). When I went to set it up, I got a warning 0f 4 Malware infections so I had my AVG quarantine it and it got rid of it before I set it up!

Karen, Convict Lake looks like a very peaceful place to spend some time. Jossy will always remember her time there and her first experience with snow.

Back from Apple and the fix is in :D While there we sat in on an iPhoto tutorial and I am just going to try some things I learned...like how to upload a Mac slideshow to Photobucket....we'll see if that works :<::

Meanwhile from Reese Lukei , CCB Researcher. ......

The Center for Conservation Biology (CCB) at the College of William and Mary is currently researching Bald Eagles throughout the Chesapeake Bay region. The research includes aerial nesting surveys, shoreline counts in eagle concentration areas, banding eagles, and migration studies using satellite transmitters. CCB currently has 60 transmitters on Bald Eagles in the upper Chesapeake Bay and have learned valuable information about eagle movements in the upper Bay.

A satellite transmitter is proposed for an eagle nestling at Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG) in May 2009. The NBG eagle would be the first from the lower Chesapeake Bay and the Hampton Roads region, and would provide answers to the most frequently asked question, "Where do the eagles go after they leave their nest?"

Project Objectives

(1) To follow the movements of a juvenile Bald Eagle after fledging from its nest at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
(2) Provide an educational tool for learning about bird migration and eagle ecology in the Chesapeake Bay.
(3) To learn about foraging and roosting behaviors of Bald Eagles in the Chesapeake Bay.

I guess they will put the transmitter on when they band the eaglets on Wednesday, weather permitting.:><: :><: :><:
