This does not seem to be an upgrade, what are the benefits of a camera system with commercials that play but the camera does not? It is really frustrating. |

The University of Southern California's Wrigley Institute appears to be having network problems, which was turning off the camera at times. I've reduced the bandwidth usage of the Two Harbors cam and it is working nicely. We've had no trouble with the West End cam, which runs through a different computer system. It looks like ZapTV switched from multiple annoying popup ads to a single annoying ad at the beginning. |

WildEarth is also distributing the video from our cams at Hancock Wildlife (I'm an admin on the HWF forum), and we've discovered that some people using AOL had the ads freeze on them, and never did see the camera stream. We haven't had time to do thorough testing, but have had one person who connected directly using Internet Explorer rather than through their AOL account, and was able to see the cam after the 45-second ad. No promises, but it's worth a try.

I Thank you all for your answers. Since the banding, Zap camera system has been operating very well. Thanks again for the very fast response. |

Okay, I think I figured it out. Had to wait for awhile, watch the add and then the nests came into view. The waiting time seems extremely long compared to the old way. Miss PH eagles. Hope they return next year. |

I had to watch one commerical and then the nest cam started playing. I guess it is part of the package deal for using their services. |
