STEFFANISTUNNING! AMAZING CLIMBING FEATS! BRAVO TO THE WHOLE TEAM! The three eaglets all sure look healthy and beautiful. Most happy all of your treks went safely. It is still quite amazing that these eaglets are not traumatized by all the handling, poking and prodding and attaching things to them---but then you all are so gentle and caring. Looking forward to WE--on Friday--we will all be watching ![]() Thank you Steffani for taking so much of your time to give us these wonderful long videos ---it is so exciting for us to step into your world on Wednesdays-

Steffani -- WOW!!! What an update. Words cannot express the pictures and the awesome videos!! At times I felt I could almost touch. Loved both videos. The PR chick it felt you were at the banding watching every move K99 made. I saw that you pulled out a foxtail from K99, would that eventually have come out or could it have become a problem for K99. Thanks for allowing us to watch the videos!! They're both awesome. Vickih |

Great update! I can't wait to share the news about the TH eaglets with my students! They will also be excited to hear about Star. I wish I could bring up the pictures at work. I will print out the pictures showing where the TH eaglets go when we can't see them on camera. Thank you for all your hard work! I have a whole classroom full of students that really appreciate it!

Finally able to add my sincere THANK YOU to the IWS crew for the fabulous and amazing photos, videos, and commentary on a truly remarkable week's worth of information. I was able to view everything late last night and Steffani's smile is a sight to behold. Loved it when she was mimicing K-96 sticking her tongue out. (Hope I got that right; going by memory here.) It was obvious how much you all love and enjoy your work, in spite of the hardships you endure for your love of the eagles of the Islands. :soar:

Absolutely wonderful videos and great news about Star. The situation at the Pinacle Rock particularly seemed so dangerous at times. |

Absolutely thrilling videos Steff & IWS Crew.
So thats a long highway, what is the nearest town? Hwy 97 starts at the town of Weed, California! and then crosses the border to Oregon then to Wash and there is a Hwy 97 through to Canada."U.S. Route 97 begins in town of Weed, California. From Weed, the highway continues in a northeasterly direction toward Klamath Falls, Oregon. The California portion of U.S. Route 97 is approximately 55 miles (89 km) in length, with its southern end at the junction with Interstate 5" So K83 must be in Washington, not northern CA, is that what you mean Steff? |

Hwy 97 goes from California up into and perhaps thru Washington. |
