Noticed watching the videos of the bandings that the chicks don't seem to try to attack their 'holder' w/their beaks. Do they struggle much, or not? Are their hearts racing or do they show other signs of distress, or is it individual for each chick? THANK YOU! |

Each chick is different. Some are more stressed than others. Some we have to put a hood on to keep them calm or keep them from biting us. They usually only struggle when we initially grab them or when we change how we are holding them. Some just fall asleep. |

Many thanks for the response. I'm trying to imagine holding a sleeping eagle chick....!
