Some of us were just wondering - you took a look at your hat at WE nest - how close was the fly by - looked real close to us at home/at work! That is one mighty defensive pair of eagles - Wray and 01! Glad the banding went well! Hoping now for a successful fledging!

I grabbed my hat because the wind blowing over the nest pinnacle almost blew it off. I don't know how close the adult was at the time. |

Thanks - when we watched it live, it looked like one of the parents swooped really, really close but in reviewing Jann's video - you can see that they were close but not quite that close! Glad to hear all's well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlJq_CM-aMg a little after 6:00 mark ... thanks Jann |

This does make me wonder, from watching youre other nest visits. Is it my immagination or does it seem that 01 and wray seem to be the most defensive in the protection of the nest? Looked like they were really comming close. I hope you have a good plastic reconstructive surgeon on call and a good toupe maker just in case
