OH NO - Smurfette got dropped down by Karenin SoCali - we were hoping she'd stay close to Riverside so ED could have a visit with her! Well guess that's not happening - but again - she seems to be staying in CA - never going to come home to NY Smurfette is in love with CA and hasn't headed to NY at all ![]() clickable photo to see info |

Deb, looks like she is having too much fun in California. Maybe she doesn't want to return to NY? Geocaching seems like it would be a lot of fun.

Good morning Peep's. I ate too late late night, and was up all night paying for it. Ah two more workdays, and this week will be finished. Jann I hope you are feeling better, and taking care of yourself staying off the legs. I was concerned last night reading Christopher's Post about his Birthday. Hope he is ok now. Sandie glad you like the recipe I sent to you. Thanks for your e-mail too appreciated. I checked out Farm Town yesterday, and just couldn't understand all the hype. I prefer growing things live, and watching them grow. |

Good Morning from hot and steamy Texas! It is supposed to hit a balmy 102 today with the heat index even higher! Carole thanks for the eagleland pics today. Bandit sure looks like he is in dreamland for sure! Deb looks like Smurfette just wants to be a California girl. I took that class on geocaching in mid June and it was a lot of fun. As a group we put a TB out there...Panther Way is his name. Haven't checked lately to see if anything has happened with him yet. My school district let me check out a GPS to take with me to the Yellowstone area and dh and I had a lot of fun geocaching. We managed to find 3 out of the several we tried for. We were close to one, but too chicken to go for it. Supposedly under a bush at a building in the town we were in, but too many muggles everywhere! How do you go digging under a bush right on a main street...we were afraid someone would call the cops on us. Hey I want to check out farmtown! How do I get there? Have a great Thursday! |

Eaglepedia Revisited December 4, 2006 The young eagle spends the first years of life wandering, in search of areas where food is plentiful and accessible. The mortality rate for eagles during their first year of life is greater than 50%, but once they have honed their hunting and foraging skills, their chances of reaching adulthood are good. When it begins to mature at age 4, an eagle seeks a mate and establishes a territory usually located within 250 miles of the nest where the eagle was hatched. A new pair of eagles may not produce eggs/chicks in their first year. They will return in following years to raise young of their own. http://www.yahooey.com/eaglefacts.htm ![]() Visit Eaglepedia DISCLAIMER: Information here has been gathered in good faith from the internet and cannot be guaranteed to be totally accurate. |

and I've had this written on the back of my hand for a couple weeks ....... To Jeanne: For stepping up and taking the bull by the horns and riding it to the very end! Thank you for making the WE naming poll happen - for organizing, for executing, for making it happen (most while away on vacation )! I was the "gopher" on the committee just saying "yes great idea"! Jeanne moved it forward. Also thanks to EDBlue/MIB for their help in getting it posted in a useable format! ![]() |

KarenTX so now you know about muggles we've not had a lot of time in past couple months to sneak away to cache - gary leaves the end of next week so it's been hectic! HOWEVER he gets off at 1:30 on Fridays during the summer so he's taking the train to my office tomorrow and we're gonna do a few caches before heading home! and yes I'm afraid Smurfette may have become a CA girl - Smurf is nearly home from his travels (starting on Catalina) - he may be heartbroken when he finds out!
