Well i am going to call it a night. I am however like an an eggspectant eagle since hopefully the hoodman loupe 3.0 gizmo for my cameras will arrive from New York tomorrow. I was just going to get the delkin screen shield but this gizmo fits over the whole screen and has an eyepiece to veiw the image on the screen thus making it even easier to view the image and hopefully check focus with the manual focus lenses.

So i want to make sure i get my errands done before the little brown stork with the rubber boots comes witih it

Nytol!! :}^

Be my guest Linda :D

Rest those feetsies well George...the UPS stork might let you use his brown rubber boots which you would surely need if you were here

We just had another rumbling downpour :rn:. Poor folkies, they will be getting very wet :o

At least they got 2 hours worth of the main stage show before the skies opened up again. :)^

The doctor said the bone had started to heal within the last couple weeks.  He hesitated to go in but there was bone spur and the nerves were stretched and one was attaching itself to that bone spur.  He took out the plate, 15 screws one of which the a**hole doctor put in her elbow!!!!!!!!!, cut off the spur and sewed her backup without using a new plate.  Although the two stretched nerves were very"angry" he thinks they will be okay.  She is going in on Tuesday for dynamic splints they will put on her wrist so the nerves and wrist can heal correctly and she will also be starting occupational therapy.  He is concerned about the wrist and he was blown away that that first doctor never had her on physical therapy of any kind.

Sharon I can't tell you how upset I got after reading your post about Laurie. What is wrong with some Doctor's? There are so many who just seem to be so incompetent

If her new Doctor did not even need to use a plate with 15 screws to fix her up, I would agree with George that you should get litigious!!!

From your description she has a lot of grounds to sue him for medical malpractice :o

What murder, Sandie? Aren't you in Pierpont? I hadn't heard about a murder in that area.... :8O:

Sent you an email!!!

I just wondered if someone knew how to cut glass that wouldn't cost me a whole lot. For all I know Home Depot won't charge me a lot!!! Plus I need another "door" out of glass too.

Sandie sent you an email regarding the digital camera shades with images of them. Also an explaination why i went with the expensive hoodman instead of the delkin shade. FWIW, i dont think $75 for a gizmo for a point and shoot is worth it but the lesser cost delkin shield may be worth the investment. Also enclosed links to both hoodman and to delkin.

This is the hoodman loupe gizmo i am getting for the nikon so that i wont have to worry about the screens relationship to the position to the sun. it maskes the complete screen and doesnt shade it you just hold the gizmo over the screen adn voilla! then remove it and put it in the case or gear bag or onto your belt

Hello everyone.... I hope all that are ill get well soon...

Now for some other bad news.... DO NOT GO TO FACEBOOK I got a major virus from there. My computer has been down all afternoon and we called Norton Anti Virus and they gave my husband a list of places I could have picked the virus up at and Facebook was the only one on the list I had been too. It cost us $100.00 to have them start up my computer and remove the virus and I'm still not sure it worked. They are still working on it as we speak. While my husband was on the phone with them I was in Facebook on his computer... a virus poped up there but his computer was able to isolate it and remove it before damage was done. I talked to my son in VA and he got a virus from there also.

So I am not going on Facebook any more... maybe it came from one of the games and not the general Facebook but I am not taking any chances, I wont go there again.

Thanks Linda, I went on Facebook earlier and it was non-responsive, so I just closed it. I thought it was just a problem with my computer having too many windows open. Thanks!

Well i think i am gonna try again to return to the horizontal position. I was unable to sleep and was toying with a photoshop elements plug in and finally decided to buy it after seeing what could be done with the trial version

without the plug in for High dynamic range as shot

This is with the trial version hence the overlaid text on the shot. It almost looks like one of those old lithographic prints or post cards from years ago

(i loved the fact that there was a trial version i could test before spending the $16 for it. Some second party adobe ps plug ins are better than others i have found out)

Nytol i hope! :}^

Sandie: just call around glass shops from the Yellow Pages and find out what it costs. Here, I would have Carpinteria Glass do it. And check with Home Depot and Lowe's. I doubt it will cost all that much to cut it if you already have the glass.
