I really enjoyed Carlsbad - although it has been almost 30 years since I have been there. A friend and I walked down into the caverns on a so-called path. (I'm not sure you can go in that way anymore.) Glad I did that when I was younger! My favorite caverns, however, are the Luray Caverns in Virginia. I went there several times as a child and I can still see them in my mind.

I love the whole idea of a CW dj with a Boston accent! Works for me. rofl rofl rofl

CatM, I hope you and hubby have a grand time fishing this weekend. I think it is supposed to be in the low 80's in Red River. My husband's family is having a reunion there next weekend, though I doubt they will do any fishing.

I am sure Cat, George myself and others have found the art of humor the best way to deal with what we have to put up with. This is one reason I went and took Hypnosis. It has helped myself and many people out of situtations that pills just don't do.

Cat and Lala your mom are lucky in the sence that you are able to sit and relax somewhat. I got to sit ok but not go anywhere by myself. The new walkers with the seat and the power chairs make it so much better. My DD had a power chair and it really helped her a lot. She was able to do some things she wouldn't have been able to do before. Sorry you are going thru so much but as I said humor is the best thing on the planet.

My neighbor is going to Yosemite. He said he's been going there for 30 years in July. Wow!! And he like to fly fish. I always wanted to do that after seeing that movie????A river runs thru it???

I think it was Artie Johnson George that always fell off the bench. He was an expert. Brain surgery???? Jeesh. Were those extra marbles you found or were they the ones you lost and then found? :D I like my new camera too. I just don't know how to appreciate it yet. I just point and shoot....when I can see what I'm shooting at!!

Oh Cat I think I need to go to a tutor to figure out how to cook on this thing. I'm not sure I like the idea of the little propane bottle but I'll get the hang of it I'm sure.

Linda, we are going to camp on the Red River in the Carson National Forest. It is usually quiet there, unlike the town of Red River. There are also several lakes near there where we camp that I like for fishing.

Sandie, I think you are right, Artie Johnson was the one who fell a lot – especially as the Dirty Old Man. I loved that show!

DH does all of the outdoor cooking around here. He uses wood mostly and sometimes charcoal. I wanted to get him a gas grill, but he said NO! (I think he is afraid he will never figure it out. rofl )

DH likes fly fishing. He has several rods and ties his own flies. I like bait fishing with my very simple rod and a bunch of worms from the garden.

This is the grey cat that comes to my place all the time. Was talking to my neighbor and he told me he's lived here three years and she still does not like him to touch her....this is as close as she has let me get to her so far. Actually there are two brother and sister. One has long hair and one short. Lilly and Louie.
