Good morning.

It's Cheer Up The Lonely Day! :D Deb I can't do the graphics, but since you hadn't posted what today was I thought I'd help out. Tomorrow is my favorite so I won't let the cat out of the bag. :<::

The Alpaca's do appear, (key word), to be cared for. However this one mother last week had some serious Dental Problems, and was unable to eat. I assume this is why the Owner could not tell she was expecting with all of the experience she has with her Farm. They were hand feeding the mother prior to her delivering. However it was very sad to see the Cria was a Premie in development. When it was born it had a low temperature, and they warmed it in a Hot Tub. They still lost that Cria. Now yesterday they lost another one. Not sure what happened. The adults are going up to $12,000, and the younger ones, (not babies), are going for $400.00. They have many, many adult Alpaca's, and at the moment 9 Cria's. After a Cria is born they breed the mother again two weeks later. She has no time to rest Post Partum and get built up again gaining her strength back. I would say it's about the same as a Puppy Mill. She is nothing more then a money making machine spitting out Cria's for Sale, and for their wool.

Good morning, all. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here. how can it be otherwise - we're going fishing! As they say, "A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work."

Lala you asked about access. i really don't have many problems. Many of the lakes here in NM have spots for wheelchairs. If they extend out over the water, they are extra good since fish like to feed around docks. We like to fish rivers more than lakes and I haven't had any major problems.

Topa your cloud shots are wonderful, and I love the Plumeria too. How old are your Plumeria Plants?

Yesterday a Patient, a Retired 3 Star General, put both of my Night Blooming Cerus outside for me. After giving them Pant Food this past Winter in conjunction with being put outside, I should have buds and flowers this Winter. I sure hope so. Last time was in 1984. I'm ready to stay up all night, and photograph the wonderful event.

Have fun catm,
I was thinking how nice it would be if you and your DH could make a trip
to our Cruzer picnic next year at Lake Casitas and stay
with us for a while in your chalet.

Living in NM, we really only have access to fresh water. When I was a kid, my uncle took me out on the ocean on his boat. That was pretty neat, but I like stream fishing better.

Topa then there is hope for mine. I got three clippings at the Philadelphia Flower Show this year. They are starting to develop leaves, but it is a SLOW process. They are gathered around my Grow Lights to give them as much light as possible. I allow them to thoroughly dry out in between watering's. Guess I'll start with the Special Plant Food I bought for them. Maybe it will hasten the process along.

CatM I use to be a Fresh Water girl. Hooked a 17 inch Brook Trout that was stocked in the stream I enjoyed going to. I gave all my Freshwater Gear away to my fishing buddy when he moved South. We went out Deep Sea together and we lost him earlier this year. However after going out Deep Sea there is more of a variety of fish out there. It's always interesting and so much fun. Have a GREAT time and catch the BIG one!
