Christopher - Sounds like my kind of day!  As you get older, there are fewer and fewer days that you can do that.  I'll bet you got a birthday cake!

My Mom always baked me a chocolate cake.  I always baked her her favorite... Orange Cake and Orange Frosting.  Mmmmmmmm   :Yum:  :Yum:  :Yum:

Nope no cake.

What's your favorite dessert?

Vanilla ice cream

Wow Karen that is not a house it's a Resort !!!

Took me 15 minutes just to go through all those pics with my magnifier so I could really 'see' everything. The horse stables look as though there have never been any animals inside them :D
Now, I want to do the virtual tour :)^

Even the boats are lifted just waiting for the trailer to load them. I could totally live there just the way it is. Do you know why it is on the market?

Nope, sure don't but I think he's nuts for selling it  You'd definitely need to have a full time staff to keep it up and maybe he just doesn't want to deal with that anymore. On the country radio station I listen to, I heard them talking about it being for sale and how you could go to the station's website and look it up to see it but I couldn't find it  Then they had it on the AOL welcome page today. If I could afford that house, Linds, David, the kids, Kris and his friend could all live with us and we wouldn't be so crowded  Like that is ever going to happen in this lifetime! NOT! Too bad Jim can't carry a tune in a bucket rofl rofl

Marti do you have a recipe for the orange cake....how long have you had it???
I won my Pillsbury bake off contest with that and now I CAN NOT find the recipe I used for it. I'd love to have it!!

Sweet horse. Looked like he would gladly be helpful. Hope he gets an apple later.

When my daughter died we were all shocked. It never crosses your mind at age 41 that you'd have to consider something like that.

One of my old neighbors told me her daughter was just diagnosed with Alzheimers. It's totally debilating for the entire family and friends. it's a dreadful disease.

There sounds like a bird disagreement in the back yard. One is a crow and I don't recognize the sound of the other....I'll have to investigate

All night long all I did was run back and forth to the bathroom. Everytime I eat.... and this stupid cough!!! I want it to go away!!!

Sweet Dreams Peetie :}^

You must be having lots of fun with your farm. I've never even been to that site but I know I would not have the patience for it, especially in the summer. :P

Going out for a lovely salmon dinner at friends tonight :Yum: It finally warmed up again here and is just a perfect day...slight wind and 71F
:)^

I love Alan Jackson's Sweetbrair home in Tn. I had only heard about it recently. He was born in Newnan, Ga., and I thought he was living in Florida. I'm sure the upkeep and Taxes were more then what he had expected. Not a good time to Sell with the economy the way it is. He's going to take a beating on it. Shame.
